Abstract:Neonatal necrotizing enterocolitis (NEC) is a severe gastrointestinal disease with high mortality.Studies have suggested that NEC are associated with prematurity and very-low birth weight, but the exact etiology and pathogenesis has not been elucidated. Therefore,it is important to build an ideal NEC model to explore the pathogenesis and prevention measures of NEC to reduce the incidence and severity of NEC.
