ObjectiveTo analyze the maturation rate and fertilization ratio of goat oocytes cultured in different mediums for different time or spermatozoa were incubated in two dif ferent mediums.Mothods\ The COCs were cultured in mediums supplemen ted with FCS, EGS or different concentration of follicular fluid and were cultur ed in the same culture medium for 16hrs,20hrs,24hrs or 27hrs,spermatozoa were ca pacitated in medium supplemented with heparin or IA 23187.The maturation rate a nd the fertilization ratio were statistically compared. Resullts\ Oocytes cultured in medium supplemented with FCS or EGS for 27hrs had highe r matured rate and fertilization ratio.Sperm capacitated in medium supplemented with IA 23187 had higer capacitation rate and fertilization ratio.Co nclusion\ COCs cultured in medium supplemented with FCS or EGS for 27hrs and sperm capacitated in medium supplemented with IA 23187 is an efficient IVF s ystem.
