    Abstract:

The sever combined immunodieficiency mice (Scid) was selected and injected infection larvae of wuchereria bancrofti for animal model established. The results showed that bancrofti filaria was easy infected scid and grow, develop into adults to continue producing microfilaria in Scid. The collecting rate of adult worms is as high as 14.8% around 6-30%. The microfilaria in circulation blood not only can be check up in all of Scid infected, adult worm also can be collected, meaning 100% of scid was successful for infected with bancrofti filaria. It indicated that due to immunodeficiency of Tand B lymphatic cells of Scid mice for antibody producing, it is a valuable laboratory animal with following characters easy infected, high microfilarial density, high collected rate of worm. It is good laboratory animal model for bancrofti filaria.
